In 1982 hairstyles were big, the first CD player was sold in Japan, and KSBJ went on the air. When we started the station, we adopted our Fundraising model from other existing Christian stations at that time. Fundraising was traditionally 3-5 days long in those days and considered a “once a year” event.
But, times have changed . . . and so has Fundraising! Today, fundraising is not a 5 day event, but a 12-month opportunity to share with your listeners the stories that have resulted from the past year and cast a vision for what their partnership with you through their financial gifts can accomplish in the coming year.
